  • Runner Up: James, Percival Everett (Doubleday)

Best Romantasy

Book of the Year – Young Adult Fiction

  • Winner: Heir, Sabaa Tahir (G.P. Putnam Books for Young Readers)

Debut Author of the Year

Best Historical Fiction

Best Thriller

Best Middle Grade Book

Best Picture Book

    Why do you not have a nonfiction category? I’m not sure if I’m right that the myth of normal came out last year or not, but it will obviously be the book of the decade so I wouldn’t know why it wouldn’t be the book of its first year as well. I believe it should actually go in the must-read category. Proving doctor Spock was a quack is priceless.
