The Storytellers: Samantha Mills Reads from The Wings Upon Her Back
We are so happy to release our third episode of The Storytellers, our series of Zoom-recorded author readings! Previously, we had Tobi Ogundiran read “Midnight in Moscow” from his collection, Jackal, Jackal. Today we are pleased to show Samantha Mills reading the first chapter of The Wings Upon Her Back. The novel is a sci-fantasy told in two timelines, following one woman’s rise to power and fall from grace as she gives up everything to serve a charismatic leader and then must atone for the crimes committed in her name.
