2024 NESFA Short Story Contest Winner
Hazel Milla is the winner of the New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA) Science Fiction & Fantasy Short Story Contest. The 2025 honorees are:

- Runner-up: Michael Burianyk, “The Witches of Kyiv” (Nice, France)
- Runner-up: Bailey Maybray, “Hook, Line, and Clinker” (Somerville, MA)
- Runner-up: Brad Halverson, “Top Dog” (Utah)
- Honorable Mention: Veronika Majerová, “Sleepwalker’s Survival Guide” (Bratislava, Slovakia)
- Honorable Mention: E. R. Cook, “Metamorphi” (Westminster, CO)
- Honorable Mention: Jun Schultz, “The Strid” (Cambridge, Massachusetts)
The winners were announced at Boskone 62, held February 14-16, 2025. The contest administrator was Steven Lee. Judges were E. C. Ambrose, Kelley Armstrong, and Jasper Fforde.
