2024 Elgin Awards Winners
The Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association (SFPA) has announced the winners of the 2024 Elgin Awards, presented for the best poetry chapbook and the best full-length poetry book in the speculative genre. The Elgin Awards are named after the founder of SFPA, Suzette Haden Elgin.
- First Place: The Gravity of Existence, Christina Sng (Interstellar Flight)
- Second Place: Bounded By Eternity, Deborah L. Davitt self-published)
- Third Place (tie): From Voyages Unreturning, Deborah L. Davitt (Aqueduct)
- Third Place (tie): Flare, Jeannine Hall Gailey (BOA Editions)
Best Chapbook
- First Place: Worm Sonnets, Amelia Gorman (Quarter)
- Second Place: Shelf Life, F.J. Bergmann (Space Cowboy)
- Third Place: Numinous Stones, Holly Lyn Walrath (Aqueduct)
The Elgin Awards winners, along with the Dwarf Star and Rhyslings, were all announced in Star*Line 47.4.
