2023 Endeavour Award Shortlist

The finalists for the Endeavour Award have been announced. The award recognizes “a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by a Pacific Northwest author or authors and published in the previous year.” The finalists are:

  • Bookshops & Bonedust, Travis Baldree (Tor)
  • Vampires of El Norte, Isabel Cañas (Berkley)
  • Again and Again, Jonathan Evison (Penguin Random House/Dutton)
  • Sleep No More, Seanan McGuire (DAW)
  • Painted Devils, Margaret Owen (Henry Holt Books for Young Readers)

A panel of judges will select the winner. Both the judges and the winner will be announced at OryCon 44, to be held October 18-20, 2024, in Portland OR. The winner will receive $1,000. For more information, see the announcement from Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, Inc.
