Changes at Saga

Saga Press, the SF/F imprint of Simon & Schuster (S&S), has announced several promotions and other changes.

Tim O’Connell has become vice president and publisher of Saga, moving from his role as vice president and editorial director of fiction at S&S, though he will continue to acquire for the latter. He will report to S&S VP and publisher Sean Manning.

Joe Monti has been promoted to vice president, associate publisher, and editorial director of Saga, reporting to O’Connell.

Ella Laytham, late of Penguin Random House, has joined Saga as art director.

The remainder of the team includes senior editors Amara Hoshijo and Nivia Evans, editor Sareena Kamath, assistant editor Jéla Lewter, editorial assistants Caroline Tew and Anna Hauser, senior publicist Christine Calella, associate publicist Karintha Parker, and marketing associate Savannah Breckenridge.

Saga was founded in 2015 and has published authors including Peter S. Beagle, M. John Harrison, Nalo Hopkinson, Stephen Graham Jones, and Rebecca Roanhorse.
