2022 Endeavour Award Shortlist

The shortlist for the Endeavour Award has been announced. The award recognizes “a distinguished science fiction or fantasy book written by a Pacific Northwest author or authors and published in the previous year.” The finalists are:

  • Leech, Hiron Ennes (Tordotcom)
  • Be the Serpent, Seanan McGuire (DAW)
  • Spelunking Through Hell, Seanan McGuire (DAW)
  • The Bone Orchard, Sara Mueller (Tor)
  • The Wild Hunt, Emma Seckel (Tin House)

Judges for the 2022 award are Brenda Cooper, Meg Elison, and Deborah Ross. The winner will be announced at OryCon 43, to be held November 10-12, 2023, in Portland OR. The winner will receive $1,000. For more information, see the announcement from Oregon Science Fiction Conventions, Inc.
