Writer, producer, and puppeteer MARTY KROFFT, 86, won the Julie Award for lifetime achievement in multiple genres, presented at Dragon Con.
RICH LARSON’s ‘‘Quandary Aminu vs The Butterfly Man’’ (Tor.com 9/21/22) won the 2023 Eugie Foster Memorial Award for Short Fiction, and Larson received $1,000 and a plaque. The award, announced at Dragon Con, held August 31 – September 4, 2023 in Atlanta GA, celebrates ‘‘the best in innovative fiction’’ and honors writer and editor Eugie Foster, who died in 2014.
DANIEL BURNBRIDGE’s story ‘‘For the Great and Immortal’’ is the winner of the Mike Resnick Memorial Award celebrating new authors, presented at Dragon Con.

The Cthulhu by Gaslight series will also launch in 2024. Aconyte publishing director Marc Gascoigne says, “Bridgerton with extra tentacles and Sherlock Holmes facing off against shoggoths – what’s not to love?”
