2023 Caine Prize Winner

“A Soul of Small Places” by Mame Bougouma Diene & Woppa Diallo (Africa Risen) won the 2023 Caine Prize for African Writing. The £10,000 prize “is awarded for a short story by an African writer published in English” and was announced October 2, 2023.
