2023 WSFA Small Press Award Finalists
Finalists for the 2023 Washington Science Fiction Association (WSFA) Small Press Award for Short Fiction have been announced:

- “Ashes of a Cinnamon Fire”, R. Z. Held (Shattering The Glass Slipper)
- “Simons, Far and Near”, Ana Gardner (Cast of Wonders 2/22)
- “Possession”, Taylor Jones (Reckoning 9/22)
- “At the Lighthouse, Out by the Othersea”, Juliet Kemp (Uncanny 7-8/22)
- “The Dragon Project”, Naomi Kritzer (Clarkesworld 3/22)
- “In the Belly of the Whale”, Angus McIntyre (Trenchcoats, Towers, and Trolls: Cyberpunk Fairy Tales)
- “Not the Youngest, Nor the Prettiest, But Someone Else”, Alyse Winters (Shattering The Glass Slipper)
The award, recognizing “the best original short fiction published by small presses in the previous year,” will be presented at Capclave, to be held September 29 – October 1, 2023 at the Rockville Hilton in Rockville MD.
