2023 Booker Prize Longlist
The 13-title longlist for the 2023 Booker Prize has been announced, and includes In Ascension by Martin MacInnes (Atlantic).
The £50,000 prize is “open to works by writers of any nationality, written in English and published in the UK or Ireland.” This year’s judges are Adjoa Andoh, Mary Jean Chan, Esi Edugyan, and James Shapiro.
The shortlist will be announced September 21, 2023. Shortlisted authors receive £2,500 and a “specially bound edition of their book.” Winners will be announced November 26, 2023.
