2023 Yoto Carnegie Medals Winners
The recipients of the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing and Yoto Carnegie Medal for Illustration have been announced. Winning titles and authors of genre interest include:
Yoto Carnegie Medal for Writing
- The Blue Book of Nebo, Manon Steffan Ros (Firefly)
Yoto Carnegie Shadowers’ Choice Medal for Illustration
The awards were presented by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), at a ceremony at the Barbican in London, UK. Winners receive £500 worth of books to donate to local libraries, a golden medal, and a £5,000 Colin Mears Award cash prize.
