Bardugo Shortlisted for CWA Dagger Award
Leigh Bardugo’s story “The Disappearance” (Marple) has been shortlisted for The Crime Writers’ Association’s 2023 Short Story Dagger Award. The CWA Dagger Awards celebrate the best in crime-writing each year, and the winners will be announced on July 6, 2023 at the Dagger Awards night in London.
Other titles of interest include historical steampunk novel The Clockwork Girl by Anna Mazzola, which has been shortlisted for the Gold Dagger and the Historical Dagger, and the dystopian London in Black by Jack Lutz, which has been shortlisted for the ILP John Creasey (New Blood) Dagger. In addition, as previously announced, Walter Mosley is the winner of the Diamond Dagger for 2023.
