Léourier Wins Prix Joël-Champetier
Christian Léourier’s story “L’Auberge au bord du monde” won the seventh annual Prix Joël-Champetier , given to a non-Canadian author who writes SF or fantasy in French. Léourier will receive €1,000 and publication in Solaris #225 (Winter 2023).
The award is named in honor of the late editor of Solaris, with winners chosen by jury. This year’s jurors were Iseult Bacon-Marcaurelle of Alire Editions, Solaris literary director Pascal Raud, author and translator Philippe Turgeon, and author and translator Elisabeth Vonarburg.
