Taos Toolbox
The Taos Toolbox master class in writing science fiction and fantasy, delayed for two years by COVID-19, took place June 12-25, 2022. Because its normal site at Angel Fire NM was under threat by a massive forest fire, the workshop was moved to the Sonesta ES in Albuquerque. Taos Toolbox hopes to return to Angel Fire next year.
Launch Pad
The 2022 Launch Pad Astronomy Workshop for Writers took place on May 22-28, 2022 at the University of Wyoming in Laramie WY.
Shared Worlds
The Shared Worlds teen writing summer program took place on July 10-23, 2022 at Wofford College in Spartanburg SC.

Your Personal Odyssey Writing Workshop
The Odyssey Writing Workshop transformed in 2022 into Your Personal Odyssey Writing Workshop, an intensive, one-on-one online workshop customized for each student, combining expert feedback, deep mentoring, and the renowned Odyssey lectures. The 12 students admitted were able to choose whether to take the program over six weeks (beginning in June), three months (beginning in August), or six months (beginning in November).
Clarion West
Clarion West held its summer workshop from June 19–July 29, 2022, at various locations in Seattle.
Rio Hondo
The Rio Hondo Workshop, postponed by COVID for over two years, took place September 18-25, 2022, in the mountains near Angel Fire NM.
Terry Boren was unable to attend after testing positive for COVID, but participated via Zoom.
