Smith Wins Feminist Futures Award

Jane Smith’s “Salt Water” is the winner of the Feminist Futures Award, which recognizes “excellence in feminist storytelling and capture the complexities and other aspects of identity, as well as intersectionality, through the imaginative power of science fiction.”

The prize is part of the Omega Sci-Fi Awards, which announced other results yesterday, including the Roswell Award finalists. Roswell and Feminist Futures stories will be read by celebrity guests during an event held via Zoom on May 21, 2022. Registration is available here.
