2021 Governor General’s Literary Awards Finalists
The Canada Council for the Arts has announced the Governor General’s Literary Awards finalists. There are seven categories, in both English and French: Fiction, Literary Non-fiction, Poetry, Drama, Young People’s Literature – Text, Young People’s Literature – Illustrated Books, and Translation.
Several authors and titles of genre interest made the list.
Fiction

Each winning author receives $25,000, each publisher a $3,000 grant, and nominees who don’t win get $1,000 each. For more information, see their website.
