Compton Wins Cordwainer Smith Rediscovery Award
D.G. Compton is the winner of the 2021 Cordwainer Smith Rediscovery Award, intended to bring attention to lesser-known SF and fantasy authors. The jury particularly cites Compton’s 1974 novel The Continuous Katherine Mortenhoe.
The award was presented by judges Rich Horton, Steven H Silver, and Grant Thiessen during the virtual Readercon 31.
For more information about the award, see the Cordwainer Smith Foundation website.
