Bundoran Press Closes
Bundoran Press Publishing House has announced that it will cease operations by October 30, 2020. No new contracts will be signed, and all previously contracted books have been published. They will continue to sell books on their website and other platforms until that date. Authors and editors can request rights reversion at an earlier date; otherwise, all rights will revert at the end of October.
Hayden Trenholm spoke on behalf of the publishers:
While we still love the press and our artists, we no longer have the emotional or
financial resources to continue the struggle. Selling books as a small press has always been
challenging but the last year has seen those challenges grow. The current pandemic was only the final blow.
The press has published four anthologies and 20 novels under the current partnership, including 11 Aurora Awards nominations, with two wins, and two Sunburst Award finalists.

While you are here, please take a moment to support Locus with a one-time or recurring donation. We rely on reader donations to keep the magazine and site going, and would like to keep the site paywall free, but WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT to continue quality coverage of the science fiction and fantasy field.
