Nobel Wins Silver Birch
The Ontario Library Association awarded the Silver Birch Fiction Award to Julia Nobel for The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane (Sourcebooks Young Readers). The Silver Birch Fiction Award “celebrates fiction books for readers in Grades 3-6.” It is given as part of the The Forest of Reading, “Canada’s largest recreational reading program.”
