Mozley Wins Polari Prize

Elmet by Fiona Mozley (Algonquin/John Murray) won the 2018 Polari First Book Prize, announced October 20, 2018 at the London Literature Festival in London, England. The prize “is awarded annually to a writer whose first book explores the LGBT experience, whether in poetry, prose, fiction or non-fiction.” Judges for 2018 were Paul Burston (chair), Alexis Gregory, Rachel Holmes, V.G. Lee, and Karen McLeod.
