Deep Dish Reading Series
The Speculative Literature Foundation (SLF), Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), and the Chicago Nerds Social Club (CNSC) have sponsored the Deep Dish science fiction reading series, held at Volumes Book Cafe in Chicago IL.
The inaugural event was held on October 7, 2017 and featured Chris Bauer, Richard Chwedyk, Meg Khoury, Mary Robinette Kowal, and Cath Schaff-Stump, and was hosted by Mary Anne Mohanraj.
Further events in December 2017 and March 2018 featured Sue Burke, Dan Gonzalez, Dawn Bonanno Hebein, Scott Huggins, A.D. Jameson, Mary Robinette Kowal, Valya Dudycz Lupescu, Michael Moreci, Ada Palmer, Angeli Primlani, Aurelius Raines II, Stephen Segal, Kevin Wabaunsee, and Sandi Wisenberg.
An upcoming reading on June 7, 2018 will feature Chris Bauer, Tanya DePass, Shareef Jackson, Anaea Lay, Ada Palmer, Eden Robins, and Todd Sumnar.
