Lewis Awarded Working Class Writers Grant

L.D. Lewis is the recipient of the 2017 Working Class Writers Grant, presented by the Speculative Literature Foundation (SLF). The $750 grant is given annually to assist working class, blue-collar, poor, and homeless writers who “have been historically underrepresented in speculative fiction, due to financial barriers which have made it much harder for them to have access to the writing world.”

Lewis volunteers as art director for Fiyah magazine. Honorable mentions for the 2017 grant are Mica Kole, L.L. Madrid, and Peg Rousar-Thompson.

For more information, see the SLF website.
