Hugo Base Competition

MidAmericon II, the 74th Worldcon, held August 17-21, 2016 in Kansas City MO, has opened the competition to design the base for the 2016 Hugo Award.

Designs should “have a theme highlighting Kansas City and/or the themes and aesthetic feel of MidAmeriCon II.” Proposals should be submitted to the MidAmericon II committee by January 18, 2016.

The winner will receive a membership to MidAmeriCon II and will take part in the public unveiling at the opening ceremonies.
