A Rising Thunder by David Weber debuted at number one on the hardcover list this month, with Fair Game by Patricia Briggs coming in second. The new runner-up was Arctic Rising by Tobias Buckell (Tor) with 39 titles nominated, down quite a bit from last month’s 50.
Gail Carriger’s Timeless swooped into first place on the paperback list, with George R.R. Martin’s A Game of Thrones a distant second. The new runner-up was C.J. Cherryh’s Betrayer (DAW) with 48 titles nominated, down a bit from last month’s 53.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins was number one on the trade paperback list this month. The new runner-up was The Pillars of Hercules by David Constantine (Night Shade) out of 40 titles nominated, up from last month’s 32.
Star Trek: That Which Divides by Dayton Ward was first on the media-related titles this month and there was no new runner-up. There were 13 titles nominated, up from last month’s 10.
Warhammer 40,000: The Horus Heresy: Know No Fear by Dan Abnett took first place in the gaming-related titles, and Warhammer 40,000: The Horus Heresy: Deliverance Lost by Gav Thorpe (Black Library US) was the new runner-up. There were 20 titles nominated, down from the 25 we saw last month.
