Patricia Briggs’ Frost Burned (Ace), seventh in her popular Mercy Thompson series, debuts at #1 on the New York Times fiction hardcover list, and debuts on three other lists in 2nd to 5th place. Other debuts this week: David Weber’s Shadow of Freedom (Baen) ranks as high as #8 on three lists. R.A. Salvatore’s Neverwinter Saga novel, The Last Threshold (Wizards of the Coast), ranks as high as #10 on three lists. And Joyce Carol Oates’ The Accursed (Ecco) comes in at #29 on the NYT list. And mass market paperback titles by Seanan McGuire and Rob Thurman debut on the NYT list.
