SFFH on General Lists

Stephen King's The Dark Tower slips on several lists but maintains its #1 position at New York Times and Publishers Weekly. Philip Roth's The Plot Against America gains on several lists, ranking #1 or #2 on five lists altogether this week. Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell drops slightly on several lists, but still ranks on 9 of the 10 lists charted below. John Ringo & Julie Cochrane's Cally's War debuts this week at #31 on the New York Times list. Stephen R. Donaldson's The Runes of the Earth debuts low on 2 Amazon lists this week. R.A. All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats, and BookScan, which combines hardcovers and paperbacks within lists for fiction, nonfiction, and children's. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.

Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.
