SFFH on General Lists

Several books debut this week, of which the most impressive is David Gemmell's Swords of Night and Day (Bantam UK) at #9 on Dymock's fiction list.
Elsewhere, Raymond E. Feist's King of Foxes placed #91 on Amazon's list when checked on Monday (the list changes hourly), and the UK edition of Garth Nix's Abhorsen ranks #15 on BookScan's children's list. In paperback, two other titles debut on BookScan: the reprint of Margaret Atwood's Oryx and Crake, #31 on the fiction list, and the reprint of Eoin Colfer's Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code, #29 on the children's list.
There was no updated USA Today list this week.

All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats, and BookScan, which combines hardcovers and paperbacks within lists for fiction, nonfiction, and children's. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.
