SFFH on General Lists

Terry Brooks's The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara: Morgawr (Del Rey) is this week's big debut, ranking on 5 lists, as high as #3 on two of them. Last week's debut, Orson Scott Card's Shadow Puppets, slips off one list but on to another, to still place on 6 lists.
YA author Tamora Pierce's Protector of the Small: Lady Knight (Random House), fourth book in that series, also debuts impressively on 5 lists, 3 of them children's lists, one of them Wall Street Journal's general fiction list, where it places #6.
Also: Stephen King's next novel, From a Buick 8 (Scribner), is already out in the UK and ranking #7 on Bookseller's fiction list. It's due in stores in the US on September 24.
More: Paperback reprints by Brooks, King & Straub, Herbert & Anderson (whose next hardcover Dune book, The Butlerian Jihad, is in US stores Sept. 17), and Brian Jacques all debut on New York Times's lists this week, while J.D. Robb's Purity in Death, about a computer virus in 2059, debuts on 4 paperback lists, at #1 on two of them.

All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.
Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.
