Issue 185 includes John Clute's review of Tim Powers's Declare; Paul Di Filippo's review of Samuel R. Delany's 1984: Selected Letters; and Tasha Robinson's review of Terry Pratchett's The Truth. Letters challenge Michael Cassutt's definition of SF, from the previous issue.

Tepper are reviewed by Paul Di Filippo and A.M. Dellamonica; Di Filippo reviews (and points out flaws in) James Blish's classic A Case of Conscience; and there's an interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger and director Roger Spottiswoode.

§ SF Site [http://www.sfsite.com/]
Highlights of the mid-November posts include an interview with Jonathan Lethem and one with Gardner Dozois, and Rodger Turner's profile of publisher Fedogan & Bremer, with an annotated list of books they've published. There are also lots of reviews of books, magazines, and films. Earlier November posts include an interview with Julie Czernada, and a compilation of SF by Canadians.

Nonfiction E-zines

§ Ansible 160, November 2000 [http://www.dcs.gla.ac.uk/Ansible/a160.html] has Chris Priest on Utopia 2000, a report on the James White Award ceremony, and reminiscences about Keith Roberts from Chris Priest, Harry Harrison, David V. Barrett, Rob Holdstock, and others (Mike Moorcock: `Never knew a bloke so determined to destroy himself. I expected this earlier, frankly. I think it's a mercy someone that miserable is dead. Put that in your newspaper, Mr Langford!'); and a long piece by Malcolm Edwards on this supplement page; he concludes:

Speaking about Pavane to colleagues I said something to the effect that it was one of the finest sf novels ever written, by a man who at his best was a brilliant writer, but sadly also the most difficult human being I've ever had to work with.

§ Science Fiction Weekly [http://www.scifiweekly.com/]
Issue 184 includes The Cassutt Files in which Michael Cassutt ponders why a TV producer would deny his series was "sci-fi"; a review by Paul Di Filippo of Hugo Gernsback's Ralph 124C41+; others review new books by Stephen King and David Herter; and Patrick Lee reviews Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2.
