As noted last week, paperback editions of Charlaine Harris' seven Sookie Stackhouse novels, beginning with Dead Until Dark (Ace; first published 2001), have ranked prominently on lists since the debut earlier this month of HBO series True Blood, based on the series. This week, Harris achieves a record of some sort by ranking all seven titles on New York Times mass market paperback list in the same week -- ranks ranging from #3, for Dead Until Dark, to #19. All seven titles also rank today on Amazon.com; five of them rank today on Amazon Canada's list.

Meanwhile, Neal Stephenson's Anathem slips a few notches on some lists, but rose a notch to #1 on the San Francisco Chronicle list this week, and still ranks on all eight lists compiled on this chart. Debuts this week include Brian Herbert & Kevin J. Anderson's Paul of Dune (Tor), at #10 or #11 on lists at New York Times, Washington Post, and Publishers Weekly. And a new Star Wars novel by Karen Traviss, Order 66 (Del Rey), is #10 at PW and #12 at NYT.

Christopher Paolini's Brisingr is excluded from some of the print lists, as a YA novel, but ranks impressively at #1 on USA Today's combined list this week, #5 on San Francisco Chronicle's fiction hardcover list, and sits at #2 on all three Amazon lists today.
