This issue has novelettes by Amy Bechtel (one of a series that began with "Little Monsters" in 1989), Joe Schembrie, Richard A. Lovett, and Robert J. Howe, and short stories by Catherine Shaffer, Dave Creek, Stephen L. Burns, and Stephen Baxter (a new "Tale of Old Earth"). There's also a "Probability Zero" vignette by Harry Turtledove. Analog's website excerpts the Bechtel story.
The science fact article is "The Wired Ocean: Doing Oceanography Without Getting All Wet" by Richard A. Lovett.
