The first volume of Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell's "Edge Chronicles", Beyond the Deepwoods, debuts at #10 on New York Times's children's chapter book list this week, and rose to #2 on BookSense's children's list. The series was published beginning in 1998 in Britain; this volume and the second volume, Stormchaser, have just been released in the US by Random House/David Fickling Books.
