Monstrous Regiment led the hardcover list, with Quicksilver just a few points behind. New runner-up: John Ringo's There Will Be Dragons (Baen). We had 66 nominees, up slightly from 64 last month.
Night Watch topped the paperback category by a solid margin. Exile's Honor made a strong showing as well. New runner-up: EarthRise by William C. Dietz (Ace). Nominees: 98, up from 85.
Spin State had no close competition in the trade paperback category. New runner-up: A Place So Foreign and Eight More, Cory Doctorow (Four Walls Eight Windows). Nominees: 55, down from 60 last month.
Star Wars: The New Jedi Order: The Final Prophecy dominated the media-related titles. Nominees: 24, down from 27.
Forgotten Realms: The Thousand Orcs headed gaming-related titles for the fourth month in a row, just one point ahead of Halo: The Flood. Nominees: 23, up from 20.
