Laurell K. Hamilton's Cerulean Sins (Berkley) debuts on 3 more lists this week, but drops off 1, to rank on 7 altogether, the best showing of any genre title this week. (Noted, but not to be tracked: the latest, 11th, "Left Behind" novel, Armageddon: The Cosmic Battle of the Ages by LaHaye and Jenkins, debuts on several lists this week.) Michael Chabon's paperback anthology McSweeney's Mammoth Treasury of Thrilling Tales debuts on 2 more lists this week, to place on 4 lists altogether. All the Dune novels have dropped of Amazon's list. The UK paperback of Michael Marshall's The Straw Men debuts on UK's BookScan list. Dates shown are posted dates, except those in parentheses, which are dates compiled. New York Times posts its list one week in advance of print publication.

Note that some sources do not compile paperback bestsellers, and some exclude YA books (like the Harry Potter series) from their hardcover and paperback fiction lists.
