William Gibson's Pattern Recognition and Robert Jordan's Crossroads of Twilight vie for SFFH dominance on bestsellers lists -- along with Michael Crichton's Prey. All three books rank on six lists this week, with Gibson, the newest of the three, ranking highest on average.
Sean Williams and Shane Dix Star Wars novel, The New Jedi Order: Force Heretic I: Remnant (Del Rey), is also doing very well, debuting on two more lists this week, including Amazon's.
Two hardcovers debut on Amazon this week: Kate Elliott's The Gathering Storm (DAW), and Robert J. Sawyer's Humans (Tor). Gibson's novel is off Amazon's pre-publication list, but isn't ranked on this week's hardcover bestseller list. A new title on Amazon's pre-pub list is George R.R. Martin's A Feast for Crows, due for release by Bantam Spectra in September.
