• Second issue of this new incarnation of the classic magazine title. A two-volume slipcased magazine, with the main issue having fiction by O'Neil De Noux, Carol Emshwiller, Jeff VanderMeer, Mike Resnick, Mike Baron, and Martin Meyers.
• Nonfiction items are by Kevin J. Anderson, "Above the Crowds" about remote wilderness spots (with color photos); an interview with Neal Pollack by Eric Spitznagel. There are illustrations throughout by Dr. Seuss, plus an editorial by Lou Anders and note from publisher James A. Owen.
• Included in the slipcase is a separately-bound novella by Charles Stross & Cory Doctorow, "The Rapture of the Nerds" (the first part of which, "Jury Service", was published by Sci Fiction in 2002), with a foreword by Lou Anders, an introduction by James A. Owen, and a glossary of terms.
