Kushiel's Avatar debuted at number one on the hardcover list by a solid margin. There was no new runner-up. We had 88 nominees, well up from 62 last month.
When the Devil Dances easily took first place in the paperbacks category. New runner-up: The Golden Age by John C. Wright. Nominees: 88, up from 67.
The Eyre Affair edged out The Tomorrow Log for first place in the trade paperback category. New runner-up: Tom Godwin's The Cold Equations and Other Stories (Baen). Nominees: 52, up from 43.
Star Wars: The New Jedi Order: Force Heretic II: Refugee had no close competition on the media-related list. Nominees: 29, up from 24. Halo: The Flood topped gaming-related books with nearly twice as many votes as the next title. Nominees: 26, up from 23.
