SFFH on Bestseller Lists

Greg Bear's Star Wars novel enters two more lists this week, but has yet to crack the US west coast, LA and San Francisco. The Harry Potter books continue to bob up and down from week to week, while the not-yet-published fourth book (whose title, once announced as Harry Potter and the Doomspell Tournament, is supposedly still a secret) continues to rank #1 or #2 on Amazon's hourly-updated Top-100 list; it's due in stores July 8th.
The movie tie-in re-release of L. Ron Hubbard's Battlefield Earth has never risen above runner-up status on any bestseller list. The release of the movie didn't help.
Look for the latest ''Left Behind'' novel, The Indwelling, to show prominently on bestseller lists in the next week or two.

Columns show ranks on lists from, respectively, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, USA Today, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, London Times, Publishers Weekly, Amazon.com (fiction lists), and BookSense. All lists rank hardcovers and paperbacks separately, except for the USA Today list, which is a single list combining fiction and nonfiction in all formats. Some books are on separate general [nonfiction] lists (gen), children's lists (ch), trade paperback lists (tpb), or mass market paperback lists (mm), as indicated.
