Neves) of O Centauro No Jardin (Editoria Nova Fronteira S.A. 1980). Fantasy novel about a Brazilian Jewish centaur. As the hero gradually leaves centaur-hood behind him, it becomes more and more mainstream. The New York Times review aptly labeled it Yuppies with fetlocks. Offbeat, but pretty lightweight. (FCM)
