The Laser edition editing and cutting has been dropped, and this is the original 1976 version. Published in a limited, numbered edition of 1,000 copies. The first 225 copies were specially bound, slipcased, and autographed. There is a new forward by the author and an introduction by Tom Whitmore.

This is a signed, numbered, limited, denim-bound edition of 500 copies with an introduction by Dean R. Koontz, an afterword by James P. Blaylock and illustrations by the author. This edition appeared in the same month as the Ace hardcover, even though the Ace has a September publication date, making the two editions effectively simultaneous. Recommended (FCM).
