Tor Announces Romance Imprint

Tor Publishing Group has announced a new romance imprint, Bramble, featuring work in a variety of subgenres: “From science fiction and fantasy to contemporary and family saga, romance belongs in every genre and every genre belongs in Bramble.”

Monique Patterson is moving from St. Martin’s to launch the imprint as VP, editorial director beginning February 27, 2023.

Patterson brings almost 25 years of publishing experience, specifically in romance, to the table and will oversee and develop Bramble as well as acquire titles for the imprint, in addition to acquiring fiction and non-fiction outside of Bramble. She has published over 40 New York Times bestsellers, has worked with a diverse range of talent, and looks forward to bringing the same to Bramble.

Bramble is scheduled to begin publishing books this Fall, starting with Fall of Ruin and Wrath by Jennifer Armentrout in September, Alone With You in the Ether by Olivie Blake and Ocean’s Echo by Everina Maxwell in October, and Calamity by Constance Fay in November.
