Macmillan expects to reopen offices on July 7, 2022, following the “security incident” that shut down their operations on June 25, 2022. The closure included physical offices “out of an abundance of caution.”
Most systems are operational for employees again, and Macmillan has resumed warehouse operations, and are now receiving, processing, and shipping orders again.
In its latest statement Macmillan says the company is bringing extra resources to bear in order “to quickly work through the backlog of orders submitted while our systems were down and we do not anticipate the need to move any on-sale dates at this time.”
No comment about the source of the incident is available to date.
