Robertson Wins 2022 Walter Scott Prize

The 2022 Walter Scott Prize went to News of the Dead by James Robertson (Hamish Hamilton). The prize “celebrates outstanding historical novels published in the UK, Ireland and the Commonwealth.” Titles and authors of genre interest on the shortlist also included The Magician by Colm Tóibín (Viking).
