2022 Oregon Book Awards Winners

Winners of the 2022 Oregon Book Awards were announced by Literary Arts on April 25, 2022. What Strange Paradise by Omar El Akkad (Knopf) won the Ken Kesey Award for Fiction. Judges for the category were Alexandra Kleeman, Robin Wasserman, and Charles Yu. Courtney Gould’s The Dead and the Dark (Wednesday Books) won the Young Adult category; judges were Zan Romanoff, Francisco X. Stork, and Shelley Tanaka.

Guidelines for the 2023 Awards will be available on the Literary Arts site in May 2022, and the deadline for submissions is September 9, 2022.
