2022 PEN/Faulkner Finalists

The Wrong End of the Telescope by Rabih Alameddine (Grove Atlantic) and How Beautiful We Were by Imbolo Mbue (Random House) are among the finalists for the 2022 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction.

The prize “honors the best published works of fiction by American citizens in a calendar year.” This year’s judges are Eugenia Kim, Rebecca Makkai, and Rion Amilcar Scott.

The winner, to be announced in April, will receive $15,000, and finalists will each receive $5,000. For more information, including the complete list of finalists, see the PEN/Faulkner website.
