Wattel Wins Prix Joël-Champetier

Anne Wattel’s story “Les Yeuses de Noire-Épine” won the sixth annual Prix Joël-Champetier , given to a non-Canadian author who writes SF or fantasy in French. Wattel will receive €1,000 and publication in Solaris #221 (Winter 2022).

The award is named in honor of the late editor of Solaris, with winners chosen by jury; this year’s jurors were Iseult Bacon-Marcaurelle of Alire Editions, author Francine Pelletier, Solaris literary director Pascal Raud, and author and translator Elisabeth Vonarburg.
