2021 Arthur C. Clarke Foundation Awards

The Arthur C. Clarke Foundation has announced the recipients of its annual awards.

Samuel R. Delany received the Imagination in Service to Society Award “for Outstanding Contributions to Fiction, Criticism and Essays on Science Fiction, Literature and Society.” Michio Kaku received the Lifetime Achievement Award “for Exceptional Contributions as a Theoretical Physicist, Futurist, and Science Popularizer.” Television series Nova received the Innovator’s Award “for Inspiring TV Programs that Demonstrate the Role of Science in Uncovering Nature’s Wonders.”

The winners will be honored during the Clarke Conversation on Imagination event on November 17, 2021 at the Embassy of France in Washington DC. For more information, see the Clarke Foundation website.
