2021 Minnesota Book Awards Winners
Winners of the 2021 Minnesota Book Awards, given by The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library, were announced in a virtual ceremony. Sharks in the Time of Saviors by Kawai Strong Washburn (Farrar, Straus, Giroux) won the Novel and Short Story category, What If a Fish by Anika Fajardo (Simon & Schuster) won the Middle Grade Literature category, and Big Papa and the Time Machine by Daniel Bernstrom, illustrated by Shane Evans (HarperCollins) won the Children’s Literature category.
