Best German SF Novel

Best German SF Short Story

  • “Koloss aus dem Orbit”, Jacqueline Montemurri (Exodus 39)

Best Foreign SF Work Published in German

  • Die Zeuginnen [The Testaments], Margaret Atwood (Berlin)

Best SF Translation Into German

  • Die letzten Tage von Neu-Paris [The Last Days of New Paris], China Miéville, translated by Andreas Fliedner (Golkonda)

Best Cover Art or Illustration

  • Michael Marrak for the cover of Der Garten des Uroboros (Amrûn)

Special Achievement Award for Actual SF Activities

  • Klaus Farin, Hardy Kettlitz, and Melanie Wylutzki

Special Achievement Award for Long Term SF Activities

  • Michael Haitel

The winner for Best SF Radio Play has not been decided yet. “The award ceremony is planned as part of the 15th ElsterCon, which (hopefully) will take place this year September 18th to 20th in Leipzig.”
